Hello? Anybody out there? I have been MIA for not days, weeks..but years. I've been dealing with alot of stress lately, and as an avenue for stress relief, I thought why not try writing a little here and there? I can't promise anything to my readers right now, but I am willing to share the happenings of what's going on with me.

My biggest stress right now is from Grayson's recent diagnosis with diabetes and the loop to loop I've been on with my health. You ever feel like the hamster that's caught on the wheel? Yeah, that's my life right now.

I guess some would say, it should be easier this time around since you already know what you are dealing with. Granted it's not like we need a lesson on how to give insulin shots or count carbs. However, it's more the reality that my last child is now going to have diabetes the rest of his life as well(pray for a cure!) I can't do anything to change it. I can stick a bandaid on this one and call it good. It's an everyday process of just doing the best I can for them. I fear of failing and letting them down. How can you be somebody's pancreas for them?!

I care not to talk about my IC/vulvodynia issues right now. All I can say is I've had a really hard time since the end of last year. It's been one thing after another. I've tried new doctors and so far I believe we are on the right path together. All I can do is pray!.

Not all the posts will be this this debby downer, but for today in this moment, that's where I am, and I believe that's okay too! Until next time...

New beginnings..

I can't believe it's been almost a year since blogging. Clearly, time has gotten away from me! Grayson is about to have his second birthday in September. That definitely doesn't seem possible. Gavin will be 6 at the end of the year also.

I was just reading over my last blog written...oh yeah..still addicted to Pinterest. If only I could actually produce all those creative ideas. It's very helpful for finding new recipes and pointing out to me all the things I want and do not have lol. I've also lucked out and found some fun ideas for homeschooling. I'll be homeschooling Gavin this fall. We think it's the best choice for him considering the school he would be zoned for, and the situation with his diabetes.

On the topic of Pinterest and birthdays..the plan is for Grayson to a Toy Story themed birthday party. Grayson is obsessed with Buzz Lightyear. So, that should be fun. Just got to get my butt in gear.


I've actually been zumba almost every night because Chad has been on alot of underways. I've lost about 20 lbs since May. I hope to keep it up. You can't tell it, but my clothes are getting too big. My newest fav Zumba workout...I love this song to work out too...but sadly I get a kick out of watching the people do it..they make me laugh, because honestly..I probably look like that doing it as well...

I'm still doing PT for interstitial cystitis. I have the good and bad days..quite a few bad days because of the stress of Chad being gone, but I'm learning to deal. One day at a time, like with any other thing. Who knows maybe I can catch the occasional link up. I hope to fall back into doing some more blogging even if it is far and few between.

Birthdays&Pinterest!

Well, hello bloggy world! Long time, no see! lol I seriously have been so busy lately, chasing around a 1 year old, dealing with car issues(got a new one, well new to me anyways) and just life in general. I have serious doubts that anyone even reads this. Although maybe that's my fault because I rarely have a post. I went back and read over alot of my old blog posts and my blog is kind of all over the place with link ups, projects I started&stopped(zumba for example), failed attempts to blog regularly and updates about my kids. I guess it's okay since after all it's my blog and I can write whatever I want! lol

Anyways..I now have a 1 year old! Grayson turned 1 on the 20th of September! Of course daddy had duty on his bday and last year he was on deployment when he was born, so that was kind of a bummer but we just celebrated early! Having him in my life this past year has been a blessing!

My newest thing that I adore..Pinterest? Anyone else? I love all the creative ideas on there. Especially since my other little man has a 5th birthday coming up in December. He has requested a Transformer bday.
