Wordless Wednesday..

Played outside today...

Total Tuesday Randomness

I know it's technically Wednesday, but I'm just now getting around to this. I can never sleep when sailor man is gone anyways. Tuesday wasn't very eventful, but I spent quality with my babies, and you can't top that!

We tried prunes for the first time this morning..

Gavin colored a pic for his daddy while he's away...It's now on the fridge..

Thank goodness for Sophie..It's the only teether Gray will take..expensive but worth it!

Did some baking with Gavin, so cute that he went&got his foot stool to "bake"

The finish product...

How was your Tuesday?

Go over to Deployment(Again) and check out the fun! My pick this week you may or may not have seen before. It's going around Facebook right now. Everytime I play it, my little guys laugh their heads off. I wish I knew what they were really saying! Enjoy!

Military Monday Blog Hop...Tender Moments at Target!

Okay, so I'm trying something new again. This blogging thing is really getting fun! For those of you who are new to my blog, welcome! For those of you returning..thanks for coming back!...I'm participating in Military Monday Blog Hop over at Marine Parents blog..check it out!

Make sure you let me know you a new follower&I can't wait to check out everyone's blogs!

On to...My day&Tenders Moments at Target...

Today was quite a long day! I had to take Grayson, my 6 month old to the ped. to get his head measurements&weight checked. His head has been measuring way over each time&they just wanted to be on the safe side. Plus, he's a little chunker. At first, we couldn't get him to gain weight...now he's a regular line backer! I'm glad to report that while he is still way, way above average on everything he still is on the same curve, so we are good for now. What shocked me was how much he grew height wise...The boy grew 2 1/2 inches in 2 weeks(that's the last time I had him in-for thrush).

From the doctor's we went to the park. It was 80 degrees here today! Woohoo! My kind of weather. Now, I was perfectly comfortable, but my boys were sweaty little piglets. I think they get that from there daddy&his North Dakota blood! lol I forgot my darn camera in the car after making an extra stop back by the house from the doctor's to grab it. From the park we went to Wendy's and grabbed some lunch...Perfect weather to indulge in a frosty! Our final stop...Target...

Now if you are still reading...sorry this is a novel already...lol...I stopped at Target to stock up on baby food. They are having a sale right now&the ped. said to increase baby food&lessen formula intake, so Grayson doesn't continue to balloon up. Formula has more calories. I had both boys in the cart when a man in his NWU's (so Navy guy in the digis). I'm not sure if he was supposed to be them, someone can clarify. The Mister never wears his up to work. Anyways- He blushingly stops&asks me if I could help with something. "You've got two kids, you might be able to help!" I asked what he was looking for&he blushes even more. "Breast shields." It was kind of awkward but cute! I showed him where they were, and helped him find some diaper rash cream as well. His wife just had a baby&asked for him to pick up stuff at the store. I guess he had to run into work for something, but I wasn't trying to have a huge in depth conversation with a stranger in the store. Gavin(my older son) noticed his uniform. "You have a shirt&pants like daddy. I miss daddy he's on a ship!" Sailor man is gone, not on deployment, but I of course can't/won't go into details. The guy said to Gav..."It'll be okay bud!"...I though this was the sweetest thing, I had to share!

Hope to see you stopping by in the future!

Playlist Fun!

So, I'm a little bored on this Sunday night. I got the idea from Gaile at Deployment(again)..Be sure to check it out..The idea is to use your itunes on shuffle, but I'm behind the times and don't have that HAHA...so I am using project playlist and put it on random/shuffle and coming up with my answers that way. Be sure to leave a link to your blog in my comments and we can all check out each other's funny answers!

Here's the steps...

1. Put Your iTunes on Shuffle.

2. For each question, press the 'next song' button to get your answer.

3. You must write down the name of the song no matter how silly it sounds!

4. Put any comments in brackets after the song name.

5. Tag at least 10 friends(kind of hard to do that on here)...this was originally taken from Facebook/Myspace.

Blog Button

So, I'm really trying to get into this blogging thing. I created my own blog button, that you are welcome to add to your page, and I'm going to start using. The ribbons are for support for our troops and diabetes. Yellow, of course being for our troops, and gray in support of diabetes. The anchor, well...duh..we are a Navy family. Tell me what you think! I can always improve! :-)

Stick it to me!

I'm just jumping on the band wagon myself. I see cars around here all the time with the stick family decals in the back window. I don't know why I'm in love with them, but I am! lol So when we were at the Navy Exchange the other day I decided to see if they had any military ones for our lil military family. Yep, sure did! Daddy is in uniform&the mommy even has red hair! Finally no raining today, so maybe I can put them on. If you want some of your own, they have a website&they have all the branches except for Coast Guard, but will be getting those soon. It's www.mymilitaryhero.net

(I also got one our cat, Optimus, but it's not in the pic lol)

On a side note...
I took the boys to the mall to play in the playarea since it's been raining so much and we can't do anything outside. I had to exchange something at a store right down from the Easter Bunny. Gavin took one lookd&freaked out! Not freaked out like most kids can't stand having their pics taken with the Bunny or Santa, but he had a meltdown to have his picture taken. I finally caved after about 20 minutes. I figured I probably would have them done anyways at some point, so why not? I swear the actual pic looks better. On the disc they gave me it looks distorted in my opinion. But of course, I still think they are cuties!

MilSpouse Friday Fill-In

Trying out another link up that looks like fun..If you want to link up too...head over to Wife of a Sailor

1. What romance movie scene reminds you of your s/o or spouse and the LOVE you share? submitted by Simply Sunshine and Daisy’s

Hmm...I'm kind of stumped on this because I've never actually given it thought. It would have to be something silly where we get under each other skin's&are always joking on one another, but deep down you know we do it out of love. Why am I drawing a blank..if I think of something good, I'll update of course!

2. If you were allowed to deploy with your husband to a war zone would you and why? submitted by I & J

I would say no. I guess because I think about our kids in this situation. I know tis' horrible to think about, but what if something happened to him, then my boys would lose two parents at once. I think I would be a distraction too. I'm sure he would do his job better if I wasn't around to have to worry about something happening to me.
3. Have you ever done anything (intentionally, or unintentionally) to embarrass your spouse/significant other in front of his military cohorts? submitted by Marrying the Navy

Not that I know of. We most recently went to Hooters with the members that were in a class that he was going to. I didn't mind. They have great fried pickles! lol
4. What is your most irrational fear? submitted by Eights on the Move

I'm kind of scared of birds. Totally gross, but ever since I was a little girl, and one pooped on me, they freak me out. If we are in a parking lot full of seagulls, I kind of duck, like that's actually going to do something lol
5. If you could only live in one kind of climate for the rest of your life, what would it be and why? submitted by Many Waters

I would say the climate of the South East. I'm a Virginia girl, and that's all I'm used to. Gets cold, and we may have a flurry or two, but nothing major. Although, I don't know what's been up with these two past winters? The humidity is what gets most people not native to the area, but it doesn't phase me. I much rather deal with that than negative degree temperatures.

Up to Speed...

Once again, I have managed to be majorly slacking in the blogging department. Some reason I have a renewed interest in blogging. Maybe it's because the Mister is back out to sea for a bit(can't say for how long(OSPEC) but glad it's not like before).

Grayson is now 6 months old. Yikes! Half a year..way too fast for my liking! He weighs about 20 lbs and almost 27 inches long. He's definitely solid. One day when I was in the mall at the playarea, a lady asked how old he was. I told her that he was just 5 months, about to turn 6 months. She said, "Wow, Hauss!" I think that is a good nickname for him. He's on solids- a jar of fruit in the morning, and a jar of  vegetables in the afternoon/evening. He's not supposed to go over 32 oz of formula, and for "Hauss,"- he doesn't like that too much. The ped. said her plan for him to gain weight, back fired. It's okay though. I know once he starts moving around more, he won't be as chunky. He can roll over, but doesn't like to. I think it's because of his weight, and also of course, his acid reflux. I mean, would you know want to lay on your belly if you had that?! He can sit up some with assistance, but due to being top heavy(lol), we are working on that. I already posted that he can hold his own bottle. He makes all kinds of noises, and we are working on "mama" and "dada". I think he's closer to saying "dada." but hopefully he'll wait to say anything major to daddy gets back. On the 4th, we go in to have his head circumference checked again. It's been off the charts, each time and they just want to make sure he's "just got a big head," and something else isn't going on.

We had family pics taken the other week. Man, that was an experience! Our appointment was at 1:30 and we didn't leave the studio until almost 6! By the time we were done, let's just say that the babies and grown ups were beyond over it! In the end, they turned out cute.

I had half of my root canal done&will finish the other half in a week. Seems mundane to write about, but that was a huge relief. Dealing with an infected tooth on and off for over a year-NO FUN!

I'll tie it up with two things I'm in love with right now(leave it on a light note)...my new washer&dryer. They make life so much easier. Between, all the outfits Grayson and Gavin wear a made from making messes, Chad's uniforms, Chad's regular clothes he changes into when he gets home, and my clothing, the laundry adds up fast. Now it takes a little less than an hour to both wash&dry a load. Before it would have taken that, just to dry it!

Okay, that's all the "excitement"(lol) for now. Hope to write again soon!

What's Your Song?

So, I'm going to try this link up thing. Maybe if I do some "linking up," it'll be fun, and I'll get some more followers. I know I should write for me, but I also like to share what I write. I also don't like to be a copy cat, but sailor man is gone again, and this is way to pass the time than more shopping lol So, if you want to link up to this one too..Click Here

Anyways...What's Your Song?

Get a playlist! Standalone player Get Ringtones

This is totally random, but that's why I'm picking it. This song came on today randomly as I was driving and flipping through stations. I had the little men in the back as normal. Gavin started freaking out and got so excited. He started singing and "shaking his booty" in his car seat. It put us all in a happy mood on such a dreary, rainy day.

New things..

Well, I failed on that 30 day challenge of posting a pic everyday. Oh well! I gave my blog a mini face lift though. At least, Gavin said it looks alright.. lol

Update on a few new things going on around here. Grayson is now holding his own bottle for the most part&he's started Stage 1 baby food. I'm so proud of him! I was reading somewhere that babies start holding their own bottles as early as 6 months, but usually around 9 months, and some as late as year. Only 4 months, and holding his own bottle. It occasionally slips, but that's to be expected. Trying not to brag(well, maybe I, lol)..but I knew he was a smart cookie!

I gave him his first taste of baby food the other night. Sweet potatoes! Boy, does that make a mess! At first, he wasn't so sure and spit it back out. Now, though, he screams, when I tell him that's enough! lol I don't want him to have more than a few tastes at a time right now. I know the pediatrician usually says to wait until they are 6 months. However, I was given the okay by his doctor, actually awhile ago, but just hadn't started. He's been on rice cereal since he was a few weeks old, due to his reflux, so he's now ready for a step up. Honestly, I feel like I'm trying to justify myself for starting him on baby food. O well, to those naysayers. I'm the mom, I make the decisions. He's almost 22 weeks!

That's about it for now. I can't wait until he starts talking, and says mama for the first time! :-)

Day 4-Picture of Your Night

Day 04 - A picture of your night.

Well, since tonight still hasn't happened, I will go with what happened last night. Let's just say..Gavin is quite the character! First,(I won't show a pic of this one), Gavin came to Chad&I and said what we thought sounded like, "I peaked through the door in the bathroom!" He was laughing, and insisted "show me." That's what he says when he actually wants to show you something. So we go into the bathroom, and what he was really trying to explain to us..."I peed through the door!" There's a cabinet over the toilet with doors. Yep, he thought it was amusing to pee everywhere. At first it was funny because we didn't understand what he said, but not so funny having to clean it up! Thanks daddy!

Second, I let him have a cup of applesauce. He runs to me since I'm in the other room over from the dining room. He's got applesauce everywhere. I'm not quite sure if it was an accident or on purpose. I asked him, but of course he's going to say it's an accident. Knowing the mood he was in last night though, I'm thinking it was probably his mischievous self, and decided that would be funny also.

Lastly, right before he was playing with his Duplos. The ones he had in his hands were the black and yellow ones. So he then starts singing that rap song, "Black and Yellow." I couldn't help but laugh! I swear that kid picks up everything! We have to really watch what we say! I love he has so much personality!

Day 3(a day late)

Day 3-A picture of the cast from your favorite show.

Well, I'm a day behind, but at least I remembered today. Yesterday was supposed to be a picture of my favorite show. That's really hard to narrow down just one. I don't watch much TV during the day unless it's cartoons. I wonder why?! lol However, when I get a chance I tend to be a reality TV or crime show junkie. I've noticed that lately I've been using the search button on the remote to find episodes of Criminal Minds. Chad was watching a re-run a few days back and I watched it as well. Now, I'm hooked! So, here's a picture of the cast..Doesn't hurt that Shemar Moore is on some of the episodes! lol

Day 2

Day 02 - A picture of you and the person you have been closest with the longest.

Today's challenge is really easy. Of course I've been closest to my family the longest, but if you are referring to someone outside my family...I would be closest to my best friend Megan for the longest. We've been best friends since 7th grade, so about 15 years. We have been through alot together-homework assignments, relationship problems, crazy clubbing days(lol), and most recently the births of our children.

I remember how I met Megan and how I knew she was an awesome person. It was in middle school in the lunch room that I first met her. I was actually sitting with some other friends who were friends with some other people at the table she was sitting at. I followed my friends over there&started talking to her. After awhile, I didn't sit with those old friends, just Megan lol It wasn't too long after that my grandfather who I grew up with, passed away. I took it very hard, because he was like the only father figure I had ever known. Megan came over everyday with my assignments since I was missing school&always checked on me. She was the only friend who did that.

I think the thing that has meant the most, most recently is that she was in the operating room with me. Chad was obviously on deployment when Grayson was born. My mom was helping out with Gavin, and I didn't want to be in the room by myself. She was the first one to actually hold Grayson. I would have loved for it to have been Chad if circumstances were different, but I'm glad Megan was there. Gavin even refers to her as his aunt! Love ya, Megan! Can't wait to see what the future has in store for us(maybe some more crazy adventures lol)

That is the most horrible picture of me, but that's us the day Grayson was born! Thanks Megan!

Day 1... A Picture of Myself&Fifteen Facts...

I loved my hair this light actually. I need to get some more blonde highlights at some point.
(Note: You may already know some of these facts)

1. My name is Joan&I named after a cousin in the family who also had red hair. My midde name is Elisabet. Spelled exactly like that without the "h" and with a "s" instead of a "z"

2. I have two little boys, Gavin and Grayson&one angel baby. Both boys born via c-section.

3. My favorite color is PURPLE

4. I two brothers. Jeff who is younger by 2 years. We actually have the same initials(thanks mom!) and Billy my step brother who is older, who is just about a year older. I guess you could say I have one sister. She's not my sister actually, but I consider her to be...my best friend Megan, of 15 years.

5. Chad is the first person I ever met from North Dakota. No offense, but I'm proud to say I'm from the South. It's too cold for me there!

6. My favorite type of food is pretty much anything Italian.

7. I will never like seafood or mushrooms, thank you very much!

8. I get my red hair from my mom. My mother and grandmother were both redheads. However, I am not Irish, but yet I have Scottish ancestry.

9. I'm 4 feet 11 1/2. I mean, couldn't I at least be half an inch taller so I could say I'm 5 feet?!

10. My political views are kind of middle of the road. All depends on what it is.

11. I'm a Christian&grew up in the Episcopal church. Although I really should go to church more regularly than I do.

12. I really wanted to be an elementary school teacher...we'll see what happens in the future.

14. I met Chad off of myspace. lol

15. I'm originally from Hampton Roads. Yes, I'm a native, not like most! lol Come from P-town(Portsmouth).

4 Months

Whoa! Talk about needing to update your blog! I haven't made any entries since before Grayson was born. With his birth, the holidays, and Chad returning from deployment, to be honest, updating my blog was the last thing on my mind. I'm not going to make any promises that I'll be able to keep this up on a regular basis because life can be hectic at times, but I'm going to try to do better.

So like I mentioned...Grayson is here! Chad is home! You may already know all this info, but I'm going to share anyways, because I'm so proud of my new baby boy! Grayson Chadwick(named after his daddy) was born via c-section on 9/20/10 at 8:04 am. He weighed 7lbs 6 oz&was 20.1 inches long. Gavin was almost the exact weight&height(7lbs 12 oz&20.5 inches long). It happened really fast. I'm talking a total of 45 minutes with spinal, getting the baby out, and stitching me back up(sorry if that sounds gross). I was so surprised! My first one was long&painful&one of the worst things I've had to endure. I even was able to stop pain meds, well besides ibuprofen, by the second day. Four months out, I rarely have any pain. The occasional nerve twinge like they are healing but to me that's amazing considering my previous miserable experience.

Grayson had some issues at the beginning and he still has a few but nothing major. When he was born he had fluid on his lungs and wasn't getting enough oxygen. The ob said quite a bit of c-section babies have that issue because they come out so fast. He was put in the level 2 nursery for the first 2 1/2 days. It was sad that I couldn't hold&love on him, but good that I got a little rest. He didn't pass his hearing test at first, so of course I was stressing that one. They tested again, and he passed! Apparently, another problem that isn't too uncommon for babies that have some trouble at first He left the hospital at 6 lbs 14 oz&has had problems gaining weight ever since. We found out he has acid reflux, so that was contributing to the problem. He's on acid medicine and a calorie packed diet now. He's a piglet, but doesn't seem to put on weight except in his head, and gain those inches lol

Daddy got to meet Grayson almost 4 months ago today! Boy, was that the longest darn 7 months! I can say that I am so proud of myself! I learned to be more independent, and that whatever life throws at you, with the support of really great people(thanks to my family and Megan), and a little faith, I can get through anything! Homecoming was one of the happiest days of my life. Chad does so much for our family, but I think he sometimes doesn't realize it. He makes the sacrifices so I can stay home with our babies and watch them grow up. Doesn't get any more honorable than that!

Anyways, this is a long drawn out story to get to what I really wanted to write about in this post. Four months doesn't seem like that long of a time period. However, before you know it 4 years can pass you by and you sit there wondering where time went. Each day I try to spend quality with both boys. I think it's so important to hug&kiss your children. I look at Grayson in awe, and then I look at Gavin, and start to feel mommy guilt. Not so much that I'm not spending time with him now, because I know I am, but I start to question myself...did I do this with you? It's like I want to get that time back with Gavin, but I never will be able. I want him to grow up and see what an awesome people he will become, but at the same time, I'm like please stop growing so fast!! I'm sure this is typical for any mom, but it's what's been on my mind lately. I mean he hasn't even started school yet, and I'm already feeling this way! I don't want to be one of those mom's that calls their kids like 5 times a day when they are 40 years old lol I will just have to continue to treasure every moment I have with my beautiful boys. It is clear, that the boys(all 3 of them) aren't just in my life, but they are my life!

Who are you to judge me?!

It's been quite awhile since I got the motivation to write something on here. I've been keeping busy, getting stuff ready for Grayson's arrival. Got my c-section date finally. That was something that was still up in the air in the last post. Grayson will be here officially in one week on the 20th of September.

One of the motivations for writing this post, is so I can vent about the crazy day I had today. Some days you ever feel like you are the one person in the world that has a big target sign stapled to your shirt? Like it says, please screw me over on your forehead. Yeah, it was definitely one of those days. I have alot of wonderful things to look forward to-Grayson's birth&Chad's homecoming, but right now there seems to be a few speed bumps in my way.

I took Gav to the play area at MacArthur Center. I had been promising him for several days that we would go there since he's been cooped up due to all of mommy's nesting. He had a great time&free range since there were only two other kids there. However on the way back, my upbeat mood started to dwindle. Not so smart on my part-because I chose to go when there was of course afternoon traffic on the way back. I got on the interstate, and there were cars on both sides of me, and a stream of them in front&in back. I see a huge chunk of tire come towards the car in front of me&hits them. Then it proceeds to come in my direction. There's nowhere to go to avoid it. I couldn't even swerve the tiniest little bit. I had no choice but to run over it. It was a big thud, but Gav&I were okay&I couldn't tell that the car had received any damage. I proceed to my next destination...Walmart.
When I get off the interstate, I immediately notice that there's a bad scrapping sound coming from the car. Like something is dragging underneath the car. I pull into Walmart, park the car,&check it out. Talk about a funny site...my pregnant self, trying to look underneath the car. Oh yeah- I got on the gravel with my hands&knees&check that sucker out. I couldn't notice anything obvious like a piece of tire still stuck or anything falling down. So, I knew from there that the car was going to have to be looked at tomorrow.

Now, I went to Walmart because I had WIC vouchers to use. You have to use them by the dates given, or it just goes to waste. I didn't know if first I should even blog about this, because of people's judgements towards me. But then I was like...why do I still care?! Who are you to judge me?! I had about 4 vouchers that needed to be used. I got everything I needed as fast as I could. In the meantime, Gav had an accident in the store. He usually tells me when he has to use the restroom. Actually, he's never had an accident while in big boy undies unless he's been totally asleep&dead to the world lol This time, all I hear is, "mommy I leaking!" (mind you he didn't make a mess on the floor but he still wet himself) Of course the one time I don't bring the diaper bag in, that happens. I didn't know what to do because I had my cart full of the stuff. I was done anyways, so I picked a line&was like let's hope this goes fast&I'll go to the car to change you. Well, guess again...it's Walmart so there was a huge line! I separated all my stuff according to the vouchers, so that the process would go faster. The cashier saw that I had the WIC, so she immediately turned on her light for a manager. The manager took maybe two seconds to get over to the line I was in. The cashier was slow&the manger&cashier kept chit chatting. Nothing I could control, right?

Meanwhile there's this snotty lady behind me who is huffing and puffing like I'm holding up the line. I just ignore it. Well, the cashier is almost done&the lady behind me pipes up. She says, "I would like to get out of here before all my frozen things melt. Must be nice to get everything free!" I lost it. Started crying, and got the nerve to say something back...She had only frozen pizzas and a huge case of beer on the belt! I say, "I don't get everything for free. My man(I said hubby) works his butt off in the military so you can stand there&bitch&buy your beer. I guess my child's health is less important than your alcohol!" I was in full blown tears. She said nothing more but just went on huffing&puffing. The cashier&manager said nothing either! What nerve!

Military do not get everything for free. People tend to forget that. Free health care...I think not..money still comes out your paycheck each month. Freedom doesn't come free. There are sacrifices being made all the time both by the service member&their family members so you can stand there, and do whatever you want, including insult innocent people in the Walmart line. How insulting! I have to be away from my sailor for 6 months, and he misses the birth our son, and you have the audacity to treat people like that! You don't any one's situation in life. Get over yourself! I will pray for you!

*By the way if you choose to look down on me for any of this, then you are not my friend, and don't talk to me ever again! Thanks!*

I will get through this, just like everything before. Taking the car in, in the morning. My next post probably will be the introduction to Mr.Grayson. That's definitely something worth smiling about!

Baby Shower

Well, in just 2 days(the 23rd) it'll be exactly a month till my due date. However, next week I should have an official birthday for Grayson(sooner than the 23rd). I'll be 36 weeks at my appointment this coming Thursday. I have to pick a c-section date or this baby is coming on his own which won't be good for mommy.

Sunday, the 15th, I had my baby shower for Baby Grayson. I had a really great time. Thanks everybody for coming! I feel really bad that my mother had to miss it. She helped look after Gav because he was in total meltdown mode. Thank you mama! I think he just didn't understand what was going on. When we got back home that evening, he kept asking to open presents, because he thought they were for him. He knows that he's going to be a big brother, but not sure he has a full grasp on what all that entails. He'll get it though. I think the hardest thing is going to be learning to share his daddy's attention. He's such a daddy's boy! I received some wonderful gifts that will be put to great use.

A special thank you to my best friend, Megan for hosting. We've been best friends for 15 years, and she's become more like a sister. I can't wait until her son, Rylan, and Grayson are old enough to play together. Oh, and Gavin will supervise. LOL

I must also say that Chad is the best&knew exactly what I needed! I've had my moments on and off with having to deal with this pregnancy&deployment. He sent me a beautiful display of flowers&gift basket for Grayson, along with the sweetest note. It was a definite pick me up. I can't wait for daddy to meet Grayson!

Since the baby shower, it got me to thinking about how fast time flies when it comes to your children. I can't believe it's been almost 4 years since Gavin came along. Trying to remember how tiny he was. Trying to imagine what Grayson will look like. I love my boys&I'm so glad they are in life!

Happenings over the past week..&the week to come..

So, what have we been up to? Not much. Kind of trying to quarantine ourselves until Gav&I can kick this tummy bug. It's lasting forever. Took Gavin to the doctor last Thursday since he had already had the bug for a week. She said there was a definite bug going around. Glad I brought him in though. Poor Gavin! Due to his immune system already not being greatest from the diabetes, he had folliculitis, gingivitis(weird, I know, but his body went crazy), a yeast infection, and the cold sores on his face were actually staph. So, he's on an antibiotic and not contagious anymore. Mommy caught the bug though in the meantime. I think I'm actually doing worse than Gavin in that sense. I made a call to the ob on call over the weekend, and it just so happened to be my ob on call. If I still haven't kicked it by the end of tomorrow, I have to go into my regular doctor, and figure out what is going on. Those were my instructions from the ob. Fun! Fun! I feel like I've spent a fortune on stuff to make us better. Oh well, you do what you have to, right?

Other than that, I've just been cleaning when I find the energy. Vacuumed&scrubbed the entire inside of my car. Cleaned out the entire bedroom closet. The nesting is in full swing. Eventually, I'll get the house the way I want it before Grayson arrives.

~A little perk up was getting to talk to Chad on Skype twice this past weekend. It was so great to finally "see" him. Gavin was very excited. I was starting to get kind of bummed with everything going on, so that definitely was nice. We love you daddy! Miss you always!! OXOXO~

I'm hoping that everything will be all cleared up by this coming Sunday. Less than a week until my baby shower. Very excited! I'm so grateful for Megan helping with everything. Can't wait to see everyone. Just makes it even more real that Grayson will be here soon. I also have my regular ob appointment on Thursday. Hopefully getting to pick my c-section date. The 8th is out now for some reasons :-( but it's all good. Whatever day it is, I will be so happy. Recovery won't be easy, but that this point, I'm over being pregnant. lol

Well, that's about it for now..going to go eat some more soup, drink more Gatorade, and veg....
