Up to Speed...

Once again, I have managed to be majorly slacking in the blogging department. Some reason I have a renewed interest in blogging. Maybe it's because the Mister is back out to sea for a bit(can't say for how long(OSPEC) but glad it's not like before).

Grayson is now 6 months old. Yikes! Half a year..way too fast for my liking! He weighs about 20 lbs and almost 27 inches long. He's definitely solid. One day when I was in the mall at the playarea, a lady asked how old he was. I told her that he was just 5 months, about to turn 6 months. She said, "Wow, Hauss!" I think that is a good nickname for him. He's on solids- a jar of fruit in the morning, and a jar of  vegetables in the afternoon/evening. He's not supposed to go over 32 oz of formula, and for "Hauss,"- he doesn't like that too much. The ped. said her plan for him to gain weight, back fired. It's okay though. I know once he starts moving around more, he won't be as chunky. He can roll over, but doesn't like to. I think it's because of his weight, and also of course, his acid reflux. I mean, would you know want to lay on your belly if you had that?! He can sit up some with assistance, but due to being top heavy(lol), we are working on that. I already posted that he can hold his own bottle. He makes all kinds of noises, and we are working on "mama" and "dada". I think he's closer to saying "dada." but hopefully he'll wait to say anything major to daddy gets back. On the 4th, we go in to have his head circumference checked again. It's been off the charts, each time and they just want to make sure he's "just got a big head," and something else isn't going on.

We had family pics taken the other week. Man, that was an experience! Our appointment was at 1:30 and we didn't leave the studio until almost 6! By the time we were done, let's just say that the babies and grown ups were beyond over it! In the end, they turned out cute.

I had half of my root canal done&will finish the other half in a week. Seems mundane to write about, but that was a huge relief. Dealing with an infected tooth on and off for over a year-NO FUN!

I'll tie it up with two things I'm in love with right now(leave it on a light note)...my new washer&dryer. They make life so much easier. Between, all the outfits Grayson and Gavin wear a made from making messes, Chad's uniforms, Chad's regular clothes he changes into when he gets home, and my clothing, the laundry adds up fast. Now it takes a little less than an hour to both wash&dry a load. Before it would have taken that, just to dry it!

Okay, that's all the "excitement"(lol) for now. Hope to write again soon!

What's Your Song?

So, I'm going to try this link up thing. Maybe if I do some "linking up," it'll be fun, and I'll get some more followers. I know I should write for me, but I also like to share what I write. I also don't like to be a copy cat, but sailor man is gone again, and this is way to pass the time than more shopping lol So, if you want to link up to this one too..Click Here

Anyways...What's Your Song?

This is totally random, but that's why I'm picking it. This song came on today randomly as I was driving and flipping through stations. I had the little men in the back as normal. Gavin started freaking out and got so excited. He started singing and "shaking his booty" in his car seat. It put us all in a happy mood on such a dreary, rainy day.
