Military Monday Blog Hop...Tender Moments at Target!

Okay, so I'm trying something new again. This blogging thing is really getting fun! For those of you who are new to my blog, welcome! For those of you returning..thanks for coming back!...I'm participating in Military Monday Blog Hop over at Marine Parents blog..check it out!

Make sure you let me know you a new follower&I can't wait to check out everyone's blogs!

On to...My day&Tenders Moments at Target...

Today was quite a long day! I had to take Grayson, my 6 month old to the ped. to get his head measurements&weight checked. His head has been measuring way over each time&they just wanted to be on the safe side. Plus, he's a little chunker. At first, we couldn't get him to gain weight...now he's a regular line backer! I'm glad to report that while he is still way, way above average on everything he still is on the same curve, so we are good for now. What shocked me was how much he grew height wise...The boy grew 2 1/2 inches in 2 weeks(that's the last time I had him in-for thrush).

From the doctor's we went to the park. It was 80 degrees here today! Woohoo! My kind of weather. Now, I was perfectly comfortable, but my boys were sweaty little piglets. I think they get that from there daddy&his North Dakota blood! lol I forgot my darn camera in the car after making an extra stop back by the house from the doctor's to grab it. From the park we went to Wendy's and grabbed some lunch...Perfect weather to indulge in a frosty! Our final stop...Target...

Now if you are still reading...sorry this is a novel already...lol...I stopped at Target to stock up on baby food. They are having a sale right now&the ped. said to increase baby food&lessen formula intake, so Grayson doesn't continue to balloon up. Formula has more calories. I had both boys in the cart when a man in his NWU's (so Navy guy in the digis). I'm not sure if he was supposed to be them, someone can clarify. The Mister never wears his up to work. Anyways- He blushingly stops&asks me if I could help with something. "You've got two kids, you might be able to help!" I asked what he was looking for&he blushes even more. "Breast shields." It was kind of awkward but cute! I showed him where they were, and helped him find some diaper rash cream as well. His wife just had a baby&asked for him to pick up stuff at the store. I guess he had to run into work for something, but I wasn't trying to have a huge in depth conversation with a stranger in the store. Gavin(my older son) noticed his uniform. "You have a shirt&pants like daddy. I miss daddy he's on a ship!" Sailor man is gone, not on deployment, but I of course can't/won't go into details. The guy said to Gav..."It'll be okay bud!"...I though this was the sweetest thing, I had to share!

Hope to see you stopping by in the future!
